Hi, I’m Marr.
I’m a consultant, writer, and facilitator. For the past ten years, I’ve worked closely with people in both digital and in-person spaces through writing, community gatherings, long-form conversations, and one-on-one work. Over time, I became especially interested in how people narrate their lives, how those narratives shape behavior, and where things tend to stall when insight doesn’t translate into action.
My work is grounded in years of direct, people-facing experience. I’ve spent the last decade building and leading spaces where people think out loud, make sense of their lives, and decide what to do next through one-on-one work, writing, group conversations, and live events.
Alongside this, I have formal training in yoga (RYT 200), women’s holistic health, meditation, and breathwork. This training shapes how I think about capacity, pacing, and sustainability, and informs how I support people through change.
Over time, working across both in-person and digital environments gave me a broader view of how people articulate identity, values, and goals and where those narratives either support movement or keep people stuck. That perspective naturally led me into consulting work focused on application rather than analysis.
I’ve built and led journal clubs, book clubs, and community experiences designed around conversation and shared context. I’ve facilitated talks and events at places like Lincoln Center, NYC Universities and Colleges, and a range of independent spaces. I’ve also written and published long-form work. Across all of it, the throughline has been the same: helping people think more clearly and move forward with intention.
Today, my work is focused on consulting with people who already know themselves reasonably well and are ready to use that knowledge. The emphasis is practical and forward-facing, clarifying what matters, deciding what to do next, and building momentum in a way that fits real life.
